Why settle for the second-rate, when you can have here the crème-de-la-crème of spruce trees. It is incredibly cold-tolerant, it will grow well even in poor soil, and it’s drought tolerant too. As well, you won’t need or want to trim it, because it keeps that remarkably dense look – like the bushy tail of a fox – for its entire life. Growing to perhaps 50 feet tall in time, with a spread of at least 20 feet, take the time to plan its location in your garden carefully, avoiding overhead wires, and keeping it at least 15 feet from your house, fences, hedges and other potential obstructions. Ideal out on a lawn, or on an open slope, and a row would make the most stunning screen.

Be sure to plant your Iseli Foxtail Blue Spruce in full sun if you want the best color and the densest growth. Consider its final size when planting, allowing for both overhead and side obstructions.
