Plant your Veranda® Sunbeam™ Rose Tree – or place your planter box – where it receives full sun, or the closest to full sun you can find. This keeps it blooming continuously. Grow it in moist but well-drained soil with plenty of added compost. For planters, use a mixture of 3 parts potting soil and 1 part garden soil. Water regularly, especially during summer, as dry conditions often make the plant go dormant and stop flowering until fall. This plant has good resistance to blackspot, powdery mildew and rust, meaning the foliage stays clean and healthy all season, without the need to spray. Remove dead flowers to encourage more blooms, and prune in spring to leave a framework of strong branches.
