Eden's Purple Glory Japanese Iris

The world of iris is a large one, and stretches beyond the bearded iris, those lovers of hot, dry conditions. Plant Eden’s Purple Glory Japanese Iris in full sun for good blooming. Grow it in any rich, moist soil, from regular garden soil to standing in a few inches of water. Winter hardy in zone 4 and thrives in hot, humid zones too. It isn’t eaten by deer or rabbits, and is free of the pests and diseases that trouble bearded iris. Easy to grow in a natural setting, or cut down flower stems when they finish, and foliage in late fall – watch out for the small green tips, and be careful not to cut them too.
