There is a special beauty about antique roses, with their unique flattened flower shape, packed with hundreds of petals. Now you can enjoy that look in a modern, repeat-blooming rose, growing on a sturdy stem that lifts it up to be appreciated even more. This is the Bolero™ Tree Rose, a prolific bloomer that produces highly-fragrant large roses of white and soft pink. 3 inches across. Packed with petals, and an old-fashioned look, these are produced in clusters, and just keep coming back in waves throughout summer and fall, making this one of the most ‘bloomiferous’ plants in your garden. A bush 2 feet across and 3 feet wide, it is attached to a strong 2-foot trunk to create a fabulous rose tree that will raise the visual level of your beds without adding width. Later in the season the decorative red fruits – called hips – add interest right into early winter.

  • Magnificent large double blooms of white with a pink heart
  • Highly fragrant blooms have an old-fashioned look
  • Repeat blooming through summer and into fall
  • Decorative red rose hips last well into winter
  • Ideal for beds and large pots too

Full sun will give you the best results, and the maximum blooming, from your Bolero™ Rose Tree. Plant it in moist, well-drained soil that you have enriched with plenty of organic materials like compost. Water regularly, especially during summer, or blooming will stop. Dead-head as necessary to encourage continuous blooming. Leave the last blooms untrimmed to develop into handsome red rose hips. Prune in spring, just as leaves are appearing, cutting back to a framework of the strongest branches.
