How do you ship a tree?

Our teams take exceptional care in preparing & packaging your orders. All of our trees are shipped in grower’s containers. After going out to our farm and selecting a customer’s trees, our shipping team will give them some water for their journey to their new home. Afterward, we place the container portion in a plastic bag that we seal shut using a zip tie. This bag only encapsulates the container and is intended to create a greenhouse effect as well as make sure that the soil stays nice and secure during shipment.

Over the past 7 years, we’ve perfected our box technology so that your trees and shrubs arrive safely and in perfect health. If there was a Tree-Packing Olympics, we’d probably be gold medal winners.

All our orders here at The Tree Center ship via FedEx Ground. Depending on your zone relative to our East Coast location (Maryland) you can expect orders to arrive 5-7 business days after placing your order.

How can I track my order?

Enter your Order ID in the box provided and press the “Track” button. This was given to you on your receipt and in the confirmation email that you should have received.

If you are having trouble locating your order number, no worries! You can submit a ticket through our website or give us a call at 888-329-0140, and one of our awesome customer service team members will be able to help!

Most orders ship out from our farm within 1-3 business days! The moment our plants are packaged and on their way to you, we’ll send you an email with a FedEx tracking number so that you can track your order all the way home. You can use that to track your package directly on the FedEx website.

How much is shipping?

Our shipping rates are determined by a combination of factors, including the preparation needed to ship our customers’ trees safely & securely, fluctuations of rates charged by carriers, and the overall costs of shipping paid by The Tree Center throughout this process. We try our best to provide the absolute best quality for our customers, while also keeping costs as affordable as possible.

All orders with final product totals of $299 or more will receive free shipping!

For all orders with final product totals under $299, shipping costs are as follows:

AZ,ID,MT,ND,NM,NV,OK,OR,UT,WA,WY	$49.95
AR,CO,FL,IA,KS,LA,MO,NE,NH,SD,TX,VT	$39.95
All Other States	$29.95
