Everyone loses their heart when it comes to roses, and you will lose yours to the Cinnamon Hearts™ Rose when you plant it. Not only is this a fabulous rose, double, full and a wonderful shade of red, it’s also super-easy to grow. Very cold hardy in zone 4, it needs no winter protection, and it is in continuous bloom from late spring right into early fall, producing wave after wave of beautiful blooms. The large blooms open in clusters, each one packed with petals, and they are bright red when young, maturing to a rich purple-red. It’s highly resistant to leaf diseases, so no need for nasty sprays, and the foliage stays fresh and clean all season long. Compact and bushy, growing no more than 3 feet tall, it is perfect for beds, alone or in clusters, makes a great edging, and grows really well in planters and pots too – you don’t even need a garden to enjoy this great rose.

  • Continuous blooming from late spring to early fall
  • Gorgeous fully-double blooms of rich bright red to purple-red
  • Fresh, healthy foliage all season, thanks to its high disease resistance
  • Compact, rounded bush, always covered in blooms
  • Cold hardy throughout zone 3 with no protection needed

Plant your Cinnamon Hearts™ Rose in full sun for plenty of blooms. It grows best in rich soils that are moist but well-drained, so add plenty of rich compost when planting, and use more for mulch. Water regularly, as although the plant itself is drought tolerant, flowering will be reduced during dry periods. Remove dead blossoms to encourage more, and prune in early spring, removing weak, twiggy branches and cutting back the main stems by about one-half, to an outward-facing bud. Deer won’t eat it and it is very resistant to all the major leaf diseases. Any minor pests can be easily controlled with natural products like Neem oil spray.
