The Angelina Sedum is one tough lady that grows in even the hottest and driest spots in your garden. It forms a low carpet of succulent, bright yellow leaves which turn amazing shades of orange in winter in cooler zones. Summer sees a sprinkling of golden yellow blooms that last for weeks. Use it wherever you have exposed, dry places that need brightening. Let it flow like a golden river between boulders, over walls or across slopes. Use it beneath plants that die down, like bulbs, so you don’t have bare ground for months of the year. Plant it to cascade out of planters, pots and boxes. Reliable, hardy and incredibly tough for every garden.

  • Low carpet of bright yellow leaves, turns orange in winter
  • Very, very sun and drought resistant
  • Perfect groundcover for all sunny places
  • Golden yellow blooms in summer
  • Both cold and heat resistant – grows anywhere

Full sun gives the best colors with the Angelina Sedum, which will be more lime-green in shady places. It grows in every zone from 3 to 10, in all conditions, and in dry, sandy and rocky soil and even directly in stone walls. Pests and diseases are virtually unknown and it needs no attention to thrive, after a little watering to get it established. Although it spreads it isn’t invasive, since it is very easy to pull out, without any deep roots. It needs no maintenance, although some people like to trim the dead flower heads, for neatness.
